Microsoft Power Platform with AI products such as Copilot Studio offers a range of rich potential use cases for federal and state governments, including automating and enhancing communications with employees and customers.

Leading Microsoft partner SOCO aims to build governments’ knowledge of the potential of Copilot Studio with Power Platform and has scheduled a two-hour, in-person briefing at Microsoft’s office in Brisbane on 11 July to dive into the technologies.

SOCO Reveals Microsoft AI with Power Platform Use Cases at Upcoming Government Event

For many government agencies, deploying Power Platform supported by modern AI features presents a range of challenges. They may not have the expertise or resources to effectively implement and leverage these technologies, resulting in underutilisation and inefficiencies. These deficiencies may flow on to inadequate security and governance measures that potentially put sensitive data at risk. They may also impact change management, risking resistance that could derail projects and compromise the agency’s investment.

Lack of capability can also compromise the integration of new solutions with existing systems and processes–including the legacy systems still in place at many agencies. Finally, ensuring AI solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements while continuing to deliver desired outcomes can be a complex task.

SOCO is well equipped to help agencies meet these challenges. The consulting firm is a multi-award-winning IT consultancy that has delivered a considerable number of digital transformation projects for government and corporate clients since its foundation in 2013. Its public sector experience is extensive with more than 80% of its clients being from federal, state and local government.

The briefing, Leveraging the Power Platform and Copilot Studio for Queensland Government, aims to help agencies leverage Power Platform with Copilot Studio to enhance efficiency, innovation and user experience. Attendees including C-Suite executives, IT managers and professionals, IT procurement and risk managers, will gain an in-depth understanding of Copilot Studio that specifically aims to facilitate AI-powered interactions, either using agencies' or external data.

The event also features case studies from government agencies that have successfully implemented Power Platform applications to demonstrate how the platform can be effectively utilised. Attendees can apply the best practices showcased at the event to their own future projects to drive success.

The SOCO team will demonstrate how its expertise can guide organisations through digital transformation including the effective deployment of Power Platform with Copilot Studio. It will showcase how to drive successful adoption and enhance end-user experiences while ensuring security and governance are in place. Microsoft representatives will also provide insights and guidance.

“We have a Power Platform and AI assessment package that we offer our clients that helps them understand their data and their use cases, and ensuring their data is secured in a way that they can deploy AI responsibly,” explained Luca Caruso, Business Applications Practice Manager, SOCO. “One of the key reasons we are focusing on the Power Platform at this briefing is that it enables agencies to deploy AI in a targeted way so they are not opening up their entire tenancy".

The event is in-person only and runs from 9-11am from 11 July. Limited seats are available and interested people are encouraged to reserve their spots as soon as possible. The event will not be recorded.
