A recent adoptee is the Greater Shepparton City Council (GSCC), which will replace its traditional CAPEX energy model and its challenges, including unpredictable costs and high OPEX charges, with a recurring service solution for critical power assets. GSCC is leveraging Schneider Electric’s expertise to oversee and manage the assets, enabling GSCC to focus on the community.

By implementing a fully managed, digitally enabled, and tailored solution, GSCC will move to a predictable, cost-efficient solution overseen by a dedicated Schneider Electric customer success manager. The role of the customer success manager is to advise, monitor, and solve future issues before they arise; saving costs and preventing power supply interruptions that may impact day-to-day operations.

Uninterruptible power supply is essential to GSCC’s operations to ensure the Council’s services can operate continuously, despite outages, power surges, or other possible interruptions.

“Thanks to this partnership with Schneider Electric, we can prioritise activities and resources to help Council thrive – which will ultimately help us focus on moving the needle for our wider community,” said Greater Shepparton City Council’s Director Corporate Services, Chris Teitzel.

This model alleviates immediate financial strains and enables organisations to allocate resources more effectively. It addresses community needs and invests in essential public services while ensuring sustainable resource management.
